Pandemic relief bill dedicates money to wind and solar.
The bipartisan counsel crafting the pandemic relief bill included some of the most significant climate provisions proposed in over a decade. Politicians of both parties hope that these provisions will refine wind and solar power, produce technologies to capture manufacturing-created carbon dioxide and reduce vehicle emissions.
Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming, chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, was pleased with these inclusions in the bill. “This historic agreement includes three separate pieces of legislation that will significantly reduce greenhouse gases. All three of these measures will protect our air while keeping costs down for the American people,″ he said.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president as he considers the COVID-19 aid bill passed by Congress.
- That the bill that comes into law be the most beneficial for the country and the people.
- For the Lord’s will to be accomplished through the legislation.
